I like to think that with time Keith and Lance start agreeing with each other more and more - or agree to disagree or argue for hours to end up laughing about agreeing anyway - and keep reaching out to hear the other’s opinion, can’t wait to share news, get advice on, get scolded for crazy ideas. I like to think that with time they realize they keep looking in the same direction which makes them reminiscent and wonder - maybe they always have been. That each time they disagreed - they never disagreed on the big picture - and they have always felt the safest and the most prompted to grow in each others presence.

I like to think they call each other and one of them says “you will HATE this idea”. And the other answers “I might be not enthusiastic about it, but I will follow it through if you do”, and that it gets harder and harder to bite their tongue on another I love you
